The Choir

The choir were once described as sounding like "The Cure on Prozac." a reference thjat might apply best to their 1989 Wide-Eyed Wonder album. Otherwise, one should indicate parenthically that the boys do tend to forget their meds. The word "morose" appears in many eviews (along with "atmosphereric " and "visionary"), and their classic Chase the Kangaroo even takes Ecclesisastes 7:3 as its theme verse ("Sorrow is better than laughter"). Musically The Choir has a sound that suggests a blend of R.E.M. and The Police, and yet is sufficiently unique to justify their status as the premier '90 alternative rock band in Christian music.

man, just listen to circle slide. I got the VIS AND CTK on the day CTK was released. I loved Derri’s glasses (they were like mine). Yes, I bought into a group for their eyewear. I saw the CS tour, and man was it a great show. The Choir, good stuff
